Yard Cleanup FAQ
What's the difference between Yard Cleanup and Junk Removal?
Yard Cleanup covers organic and storm debris — leaves, branches, overgrowth and general yard clutter. Junk Removal covers bulky items like furniture, appliances and construction debris that need hauling away. Both are categories on Get Yard Connect, and you can post multiple services in one request.
Should I post a budget or request a price?
If you know what the cleanup is worth to you, post your budget and professionals will respond to it. If the job is hard to price yourself (half-acre of storm debris, for example), use Request a Price and each professional gives you one straightforward price after seeing your description and photos.
How does Get Yard Connect pricing work?
Two ways. Post a job with a fixed budget (fixed job budgets start at $40) and professionals respond to it — or choose Request a Price, submit your description and photos, and receive one price each from up to three professionals. You accept the price you want; there's no bidding war and no haggling.
What is the Get Yard Connect Service Fee?
Publishing a request includes a one-time service fee that activates your request and starts matching. It is separate from your job budget, and you will not pay it again for the same request if the first professional declines, doesn't respond, or can't take the job. The professional you hire receives your FULL job budget.
Where is Get Yard Connect available?
Get Yard Connect currently serves the Metro Atlanta area, with professionals based in Riverdale, Decatur and surrounding communities and matching based on each professional's real travel radius from their service base. New markets open as professional coverage grows.
How do I choose the right professional?
Up to three qualified professionals respond to your request. Compare their profiles, photos of past work, reviews and price, then hire the one you want. Their full contact details and your exact address unlock only after you hire and pay — your privacy stays protected until then.
